Briarcliff Woods 30345 (DeKalb county) Briarcliff Woods is a suburban neighborhood located along Briarcliff Road between Clairmont Road and Oak Grove Road in unincorporated DeKalb county. The area is immediately south of I-85 (between the Clairmont Road and Shallowford Road exits) and, in addition to I-85 the area has easy access to Ga. 400 and I-285. The closest MARTA rail station is either Lenox or Brookhaven. Large, brick ranch houses and traditional 2-story homes built in the 1960s are typical in this part of town, which features big lots and rolling terrain with mature trees. This part of DeKalb county doesn't have many public parks but there are a number of private swim/tennis clubs in the area, including the whimsically named Briarcliff Woods Beach Club. These neighborhood amenities frequently have a waiting list to join but offer a variety of convenient recreation amenities. There are no neighborhood business districts inside the Briarcliff Woods neighborhood but there is convenient suburban shopping at nearby malls and shopping centers including: Williamsburg Village Shopping Center, Northlake Mall, Vista Grove Shopping Center (Oak Grove), Toco Hills Shopping Center, among others, and it's only a short drive to Buckhead where you can shop at Lenox Square and Phipps Plaza or indulge in boutique shopping. Children in this neighborhood attend either Oak Grove Elementary or Sagamore Hills Elementary. The elementary schools feed into either Henderson Middle or Shamrock Middle, which feed into Lakeside High School. NOTE: All links will open a separate browser window. Where is it?
